We are pleased to welcome "Kathy's Frame Works" as an authorized dealer for our Pottery. They are located at 2300 Ingalls Ave. in Pascagoula MS.
I am celebrating my 40th year at Clay City but my 50th year throwing pottery as a career and I still love it!!! It is hard to believe I have been making pots for that long a time. Met and made friends with many, many wonderful folks. Thanks to you all.
Susan & I are back in the studio catching up on more orders. Bunnies are the next in line. Now if we could only get some nice "dry" weather to facilitate drying. Our next Glaze burn will be in the next 10 days or so.
We are encouraging all who are interested in being notified of upcoming events and invitation only events to please sign up on our E-Mail list, "Join our Mailing List" sign-up link at the bottom of this page.
I send out e-mail messages 4 - 5 times a year.
Thanks again to My Decorator, Ms Carol for coming out and updating our displays.
I have gotten friend, fellow potter and kiln builder John Rezner to build a new sprung arch kiln for me. He got started on construction several weeks and will be putting the finishing touches on the structure this coming Saturday. Next will be installing the burners and then it's ready to go! It will be so nice to have a new kiln to back-up the 36 year old flat top I currently use. Thanks John!
While touring around Fairhope stop in at the Fairhope Information Center & pick up some brochures of fun and interesting things to do while in our area. Then travel next door to the Fairhope Museum on Section Street. Donnie and his staff are always available to answer your questions and have ever changing displays. A great & enjoyable place to visit during those beautiful bright cool Holiday walk abouts thru Fairhope.Head next to "The Fairhope Store" in downtown Fairhope for some fun gifts.
Visiting our area for a few days? May I suggest "Bay Breeze"Bed and Breakfast on Mobile Bay. What a lovely setting and really gracious hosts. To contact them call (866) 928-8976.
If you are looking for that traditional barber shop I suggest "Dallas Jones Barber Shop" on Section Street in Fairhope. Tell Dallas or Josh that Dallas' Dad sent you in.
